Bensham Grove Nursery gets highest possible grade
Bensham Grove Nursery established in 1929 in Sidney grove, Gateshead is celebrating gaining an outstanding report from Ofsted. In their recent inspection, the inspector commented staff “were enthusiastic and knowledgeable “. The nursery school and children’s charity 4children provide integrated education and care together. Denise Henry the nursery schools head teacher and Helen Bowlby nursery manager, provide a caring, stimulating and stable environment for learning. Staff encourages children to become confident and independent learners.
The nursery has an excellent provision of qualified teachers and trained teaching assistants who are highly experienced to deliver the early year’s foundation stage curriculum. Children enjoy well-organised programme of activities specifically designed to aid development and knowledge. Children at Bensham Grove Nursery can also enjoy spending time in forest school. Staff to child ratios are excellent and their needs and safety are well catered for. The nursery cares for children aged between two months and five years. Bensham Grove Nursery is open fifty-one weeks of the year. Parents and grandparents are invited to be involved in nursery life as much as they would like from reading to attending special events.
