The inspector praised staff and management for their high-quality provision of care and education. The nursery is situated beside Warrington hospital serving the town and has developed a fantastic reputation and is very popular. Families return year after year and were highly complimentary when asked by the inspector about their views of the nursery. The highly trained staff is skilled at bringing out the best in each child supporting them on their learning journey.
The nursery follows the early year’s foundation stage guidelines and provides a fun and enticing timetable of activities and games to attain set goals. Each child is set discreet targets set by staff which are then observed and strategies are put in place to further stretch a child or give further support if required. These activities include art and craft, free play, role play and dressing up, the nursery rooms are well equipped with modern toys and educational games. Children are given time to freely flow between learning areas or play outside in the fresh air with larger pay equipment and ride on toys to enjoy. It is a fantastic acknowledgement from Ofsted who identified high standards and the passion the team have for their work. The Cheshire Day Nursery is a family-run business that was established by sisters Julie and Brenda back in 2000.
